What to expect . . .

To make the most of this experience, please

  • purchase The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz and read the Intro and Ch. 1 prior to the first session.
  • keep a journal to record thoughts, questions, reflections, awakenings and intentions.
  • approach this journey with openness and curiosity.
  • practice compassionate listening and heartfelt presence with yourself and the group.
  • arrive 10 minutes early, so you have time to settle in and start on time.
  • if you are currently enrolled in therapy, let your therapist know about your participation and experiences during this process.
  • reach out to the facilitator at any time with questions, thoughts or concerns.

Structure:

5:30-6:10 Grounding Activity, Reflections & Discussion (have book and journal)

6:10-6:50 Guided iRest meditation

6:50-7:00 Silent Reflections & Journaling

Schedule:

Tuesdays, 5:30 - 7:00 PM

September 3 - October 8, 2024

Week 1: Domestication and the Dreaming of the Planet

Week 2: The First Agreement--Be Impeccable with Your Word

Week 3: The Second Agreement--Don’t Take Anything Personally

Week 4: The Third Agreement--Don’t Make Assumptions

Week 5: The Fourth Agreement--Always Do Your Best

Week 6: Breaking Old Agreements and Creating a New Dream

What will be provided:

Water, tea

Mats, blankets, bolsters, blocks, chairs, eye pillows

Support by phone/text/email throughout the duration of the course

What to bring:

The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz

A journal/ notebook and pen/pencil

Snack if needed

Any additional comforts for sitting or lying down during meditation
